Weddings

Your wedding is one of the most important events in your life. Lots of time is spent making the reception perfect. Let’s spend a little time designing the ceremony that you really want. We will create a time where you and your loved one can share words and rituals that will resonate with your soul and your heart. We will discuss the structure and components of a traditional Jewish wedding and match them to the portions most important to you.

Funerals

Occasionally, at the end of someone’s life, the family may find that their loved one did not have a relationship with a Rabbi but would want a funeral or memorial service that honored his or her Jewish traditions. I will work with you to create a celebration of life that is fitting for your family and respectful of the Jewish life that your family member lived.

Covenant Ceremonies

Many of us are familiar with the ritual that brings a boy baby into the covenant with God. The Bris or Brit Milah is usually done by a Mohel or a surgeon. Often when it is being done by a surgeon there is a need for someone to perform the ritual prayers and explanations. I am available to do that for you and your family.

These days there is also a growing trend to ritualize the bringing of our girl children into the covenant as well. I have facilitated many ceremonies co-created with loving parents meant to bless and name baby girls. Let’s plan one together for your precious child!
